Indomalayan burrowing frog

This species inhabits the Indomalayan region at an elevation of about 1500m. As a fossorial species it spends most part of the year underground, it only comes out during the rainy season to breed in temporary ponds. It comes at least in two different forms in Pakistan. It was recently discovered in 2017 and its conservation status has not been yet assessed.
